Scope
This policy applies to the Ludohaus website, its browser games, multiplayer rooms, and leaderboards. Ludohaus currently does not offer user accounts or payments.
When you use the service, a limited amount of information may be processed to provide features, protect the service, and improve reliability.
Information we process
Information you provide
- Nicknames used in multiplayer games and leaderboards
- Game, mode, and score submitted to a leaderboard
- Room code, participation state, game state, and activity timestamps
Information generated automatically
- Page path, game identifier, and page-view, game-start, and completion events
- A randomly generated session identifier and limited error details
- Request counts and a one-way identifier derived from an IP address for abuse prevention
- Connection information routinely processed by our hosting provider, such as browser, device, and network details
Information stored on your device
A language cookie and browser storage may retain recent games, favorites, best scores, current game progress, nickname, and room reconnection details. You can remove this information through your browser.
Purposes and legal bases
We process information to run games, synchronize multiplayer sessions, operate leaderboards, restore preferences, diagnose errors, secure the service, and limit excessive requests.
Depending on your location, processing is based on providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in service reliability and abuse prevention, or consent where the law requires it. We do not intentionally request sensitive personal information.
Retention and deletion
- Finished, waiting, and inactive multiplayer rooms and player records are ordinarily cleaned up 24 hours after their last activity.
- Service diagnostic events are retained for up to 30 days.
- Rate-limit data becomes eligible for deletion after its applicable window expires.
- Leaderboard records are retained within the top 100 for each game and mode until displaced, removed for moderation, or deleted following a valid request.
- On-device data may remain until you clear browser data or reset the relevant feature.
Public areas and your choices
Nicknames and room status in public rooms, and leaderboard nicknames and scores, may be visible to other users. Do not use a real name, contact details, or information that identifies another person as your nickname.
You may clear cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. You may request deletion of a leaderboard record or ask a privacy question using the contact address below. We may need information that reasonably links you to the record before acting.
Children's privacy
Ludohaus does not knowingly collect personal information from children below the age at which they can consent independently under local law, including children under 14 in South Korea. Please contact us if you believe a child submitted information without appropriate guardian consent.
Security and policy updates
We use reasonable safeguards including access controls, request limits, secure cookies, and data minimization. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We may update this policy as the service or law changes. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date and, where appropriate, an in-service notice.
